内容简介:

气动弹性力学属于流固耦合范畴,是一门包含气体动力学和弹性力学的交叉学科。流固气弹耦合表现为固体的振动,对于航空发动机的压气机和涡轮叶片而言,它会引起叶片的高周疲劳。这关系到叶片的寿命,压气机/涡轮的安全运行等问题,所以对气弹问题进行研究显得至关重要。杜克大学高级研究科学家Kielb将从涡轮叶片的颤振基本原理,失谐压气机叶片的强迫响应,非同步振动和低压涡轮叶片颤振,分四个报告给以详细介绍。

Introduction:

 Aeroelasticity belonging to the category of fluid-structure coupling problem involves multi-disciplines, such as aerodynamics and elastics. Fluid-structure aeroelastic coupling leads to structural vibration. In the context of compressors and turbines of aero-engines, the vibration is of high cycle nature and can lead to high-cycle fatigue which adversely affects blade’s life and safe operation of compressors/turbines. Therefore, turbomachinery aeroelasticity is a vitally important subject. Prof. Kielb will lecture on turbomachinery aeroelasticity through four talks: fundamentals of turbine blade flutter, forced response of mistuned compressor blades, nonsynchronous vibration and low pressure turbine blade flutter.


报告人简介

Robert E. Kielb1981年在美国Ohio State大学获得博士学位,现杜克大学高级研究科学家,系副主任,2005年至今为瑞典皇家理工学院affiliated professorKielb教授主要从事叶轮机气动弹性力学方面的研究,有42年的叶轮机气动弹性力学研究经验,先后在美国空军,NASA研究中心,GE公司等任职,参与和主持了多项气弹研究课题。Kielb教授发表了60多篇文章,在世界范围内多次受邀做报告,曾任国际燃气轮机协会委员会主席,1996年成为ASME会士,曾获得2001年的ASME Melville奖,2012ASME J.P. Davis奖等10余项奖。除了科研方面的经历,Kielb教授还有丰富的教学经历。

Speaker’s Biography

 Robert E. Kielb obtained his PhD at Ohio State University in 1981. He is a Senior Research Scientist and associate department chair at Duke University and also an Affiliated Professor at the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology from 2005. Prof. Kielb specializes in turbomachinery aeroelasticity. He has over 42 years of experience including the U.S. Force, NASA Glenn Research Center, General Electric company and so on. He participated in and hosted many projects. He authored and co-authored over sixty technical papers and has presented invited lectures worldwide. Prof. Kielb is a fellow of the ASME and is a Past Chair of the Board of Directors of the International Gas Turbine Institute. He achieved more than 10 awards including ASME Melville Award in 2001 and ASME J.P. Davis Award in 2012. Besides the abundant experiences in research, he also taught numerous short classes on gas turbine aeroelasticity.
